Our Founders - Marcelo Quinteros

Currently, Marcelo is Vates Director. He has wide experience in business and the software industry. As member of the Board of Directors, he participates in the definition of corporate, annual, and long-term strategic goals. He provides the support the company requires for its growth and consolidation with an adequate structure and resources.

Marcelo founded Vates together with Mario Barra and Omar Vega when he was studying the 6th year of the Systems Engineering major in 1991. From that moment to his current position in the Board of Directors, Vates has transformed itself from a Pyme (Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises), which was only made up by its founding members, into the international company that it is today. During this expansion, Marcelo carried out software development tasks in different clients of the company, simultaneously with the company’s management tasks in its growth process.

Marcelo Quinteros is an Information Systems Engineer, graduated from the National Technological University, and has a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from the School of Economics and International Business at the University of Belgrano.
