Our Founders

Mario Barra, Marcelo Quinteros and Omar Vega are VATES S.A. founders and they make up its Board of Directors.

They began when they were classmates at the 6th year of the Information Systems Engineering major at the National Technological University, Cordoba Regional School. At that time, they decided to make their dreams come true and started the company (it was 1991 and its first client was a video store).

From that moment, Vates transformed itself from a Pyme (Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises) only made up by its founders into the international company that it is today. It is positioned in the market as the first national software company to certify CMMI Level 5, the highest quality standard in the industry at a global level.
