Training Program


It is HR’s policy to provide training to everyone who is part of this company as a way to achieve individual and organizational development. Such training must provide the trainee:


  • Knowledge
  • Skills
  • Attitudes

These will strengthen their professional profile so as to contribute a better performance and, through it, support the organization in the pursuance of goals proposed.


The methodology applied, the material, and the premises are all aligned to the training theme and in accordance with the permanent training strategy.


Vates provides specialized training services to its clients, offering courses not only limited to technologies but also about different tools and platforms.


Our training rooms are constantly occupied with internal courses (oriented to our professionals) and external ones (oriented to our clients) about topics such as software quality, project management, and technologies such as Java, .NET, Oracle, etc.


They can be taken at Vates’ premises or on-site at the request of the client.


Types of training:

  • Inductive: everyone that joins the organization must acquire them (CMMI, configuration management, requirement engineering, among others).
  • Support: Everyone that works at Vates must attend the trainings requested by the boss/client in order to perform according to his or her position. (Tools: J2EE, .Net, Developer, Web Services, Oracle, risk management, estimation techniques, planning and project tracking, etc.).
  • Development: Everyone who works in Vates must attend at least two annual trainings that foster their medium-term development.
  • Scholarships/Certifications: Everyone who works at VATES has scholarships/certifications available to them. Their goal is to improve their profile. In order to receive it, he/she must expressly request it from his or her immediate superior.

Goal: Become part of the staff of our company.


It is an advanced training program that lasts 320 hs. It offers training and practice of the knowledge acquired in software development projects.

The training program content is divided in three modules:

  • Technical module
  • Methodological module
  • Project module

Vates S.A. covers the total cost of the advanced training.
It is directed at:


  • Students or recent graduates
  • Professionals who wish to become up-to-date in new technologies

The proposed course schedule is from 6 pm to 10 pm and the technologies in which you can get training are: C++, Java, .Net, Oracle and Testing
