Release of Compras Mendoza Portal

VATES was the company in charge of developing the new E-Purchase Portal of the province of Mendoza.  This job was carried out by a highly-qualified team of professionals, from our offices in Córdoba.  The portal was completely developed on J2EE technology and its development lasted, without interruptions, for almost two years.

Its release was presented at an official ceremony by the Treasury Department of the Province of Mendoza last May 27.  Some attendees were: our President, Eng. Mario Barra, Adrián Cerroni, Treasury Minister, Raúl Mercau, Subsecretary of Financing, Arturo Figueroa, Director of Purchases and Supplies, and Mario Alfredo Granado, Subsecreatry of the Treasury, among others.

This new system will allow the government 10% savings in administrative costs and 5% in relation to prices.  For the Treasury Minister, Adrián Cerroni, "the system will make the province be on the cutting edge in this area."
