Technology Park: Construction of the CLUSTER and CIIECCA Buildings Begins

In a ceremony that took place on Monday, November 1, 2010, the governor of the province, Juan Schiaretti, together with Eng. Mario Barra, President of the Cluster Córdoba Technology and the Eng. Erardo Bozzano, President of the CIIECCA uncovered the Foundation Stone, symbol that the construction of their corporate headquarters has started at the Parque Empresarial Aeropuerto (PEA).  In the event, the following were also present: the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Roberto Avalle; the Minister of Science and Technology, Tulio del Bono; the President of PEA and head of Electrical Engineering, Osvaldo Acosta; Mario Cúneo and Alejandro Henke, from the Banco de Córdoba, among other provincial and municipal officials, and representatives of the UNC and UTN.


The Eng. Mario Barra stated: “This Technology Park will foster the synergy among the companies, improving productivity, innovation, and the competitiveness of the sector, generating in this way a virtuous circle of growth.” Furthermore, he thanked the joint work of the Government of Córdoba, PEA, the Banco de Córdoba, and the technological PYMES (S&MEs). He also added: “If we keep on working in this way, we will achieve the mission we have in our Strategic Plan: in the year 2020, we will be among the 5 places in the world where ICT is produced with innovation and quality and we will employ 35,000 people.”
